Palmistry 1927 set of 25 excellent condition
The 1927 Major Drapkin cigarette cards were a series on palmistry, which depicted and described hand features to predict fortune, such as an "Early Marriage" based on the location of the marriage line. Each card featured an illustration and an explanation of what the palmistry lines signified, as seen in the example of a card predicting a young and happy marriage for a person with a marriage line close to the heart line.
Theme: The series was titled "Palmistry" and provided educational content on reading the lines of the hand to tell fortunes.
Description: Each card featured an illustration of a hand, often with a description of a specific trait or future event predicted by the palm's lines.
For example, one card illustrates and describes a person who "will marry young and be happy" because their marriage line is close to the heart line, which is clearly marked and forked below the index finger.
Another card depicts a person with the "fortune of a world traveler and explorer," based on their palmistry readings.
